reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to

Décor are covered by our 30-day return policy.

sole and exclusive maximum liability to Whimsy

be the price of the product purchased. In no event

Colors & Textures:
We have done our best to display as accurately as
possible the colors of the products shown on this

depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that

accurate. Many of our items are handmade by artists.

Whimsy reserves the right to cancel any order that
we deem necessary, at our sole discretion. We
reserve the right to require additional information
from you before accepting or processing any order.
Jurisdiction
Whimsy Home Décor is a Washington corporation, and
you agree that any legal action brought against
Whimsy shall be governed by the laws of the State of
Washington without regard to its conflict of law
principles. Additionally, you agree that any and all
disagreements arising from your use of or orders
placed through whimsyhomedecor.com will be
adjudicated in King County, Washington, by an
appropriate federal or state court.
Privacy & Security Policy
Whimsy does not rent, trade, loan, or sell your
personal information, or any other information which
may identify you, to third parties without your
consent. We are committed to protecting our
customers’ privacy. The information we collect is
used solely to process your order and to enhance
your shopping experience. We also monitor customer
traffic patterns and site usage in order to help us
refine the design and layout of the website.

Payment
Credit Cards:
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and American
Express. By paying with a credit card, you authorize
Whimsy to charge your credit card for the total
amount of your order, including shipping and any
applicable sales tax. Your credit card will be
charged when your order is processed.
Checks:
We currently accept money orders, cashier’s checks,
personal checks, and company checks. After you place
your order, print out the confirmation page and mail
that page along with your check to:

Please allow 5-10 business days for check processing
after receipt. We will not ship your order until
your check has cleared. Please note that checks
issued outside of Washington may require longer
processing time.
Gift Cards:
To use a gift card, simply enter the unique gift
card code in the box marked “gift card code” under
Payment Method during the check-out process.
Promotion & Discount Codes:
Various promotions and discounts may be offered from
time to time through various means. Please remember
to use the discount codes or participate in the
promotions before the promotion ends.
Sales Tax:
If you are a Washington State resident, you will
automatically be charged your local sales tax.
Gift Card Terms & Conditions
Gift cards may be redeemed through the Whimsy
website (www.whimsyhomedecor.com)
or at our storefront in Seattle. They are subject to
the Whimsy Terms of Sale.
If your order exceeds the amount of your gift card,
you must pay for the balance with an acceptable
method of payment.
Gift cards may not be used to purchase gift cards,
nor can they be returned for a cash refund.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift
cards.
Whimsy will have the right to take action, including
but not limited to refusal to process gift cards,
cancel gift cards, remove customer accounts, request
alternative forms of payment, or pursue legal
action, should any fraudulent gift card be redeemed
for purchase through the Whimsy site.
Whimsy reserves the right to change these terms and
conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.
The above terms and conditions are void where
prohibited by law.
Shipping Information
UPS is Whimsy’s preferred shipping provider. At this
time, we can only ship to addresses in the fifty
U.S. states. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO,
GU, VI, or PR addresses.
Please keep in mind that shipments to commercial
addresses provide an extra savings in shipping
costs.
Turn-Around & Shipping Time:
All orders have a 2-3 day in-house turn-around time
for packaging and processing of in-stock items.
Actual shipping time depends on the service you
request during the check-out process.
Incorrect Address:
Use caution when entering your shipping address. UPS
charges a $10 fee to correct the address after the
package has been shipped. If this is due to your
error, we will pass on these charges to you, and it
will take longer to get your products from us.
Please make sure your phone number is correct when
ordering, in case we need to confirm address
information.
Special Handling Fees:
Whimsy is dedicated to making sure your purchases
arrive to you safe and undamaged. Occasionally, this
means we must charge special handling fees for some
items that require exceptional time and materials to
ensure their safe passage through the shipping
process. We will strive to keep these fees as low as
possible while still maintaining the highest quality
packaging from our store to your door. You will be
made aware of these additional fees during the
check-out process.
Insurance:
All of our shipments and their shipping costs
reflect insurance coverage for the value of the
item(s) you have ordered. If your merchandise
arrives damaged, please see the procedures for
starting a claims process in our Returns Policy.
Return Policy
We want you to love everything you buy from Whimsy!
If you are not satisfied with your order, we will be
happy to offer you a refund within the following
guidelines:

Returns must be made within 30 days of your
purchase and items must be in their original
condition and packaging. Used or washed items
cannot be accepted for return.

Sale
or clearance items cannot be returned.

Prior to sending returns, you must call Whimsy
for Return Authorization (866-494-4679). No
returns will be accepted without a Return
Authorization (RA) number from Whimsy.

After receiving your Return Authorization
number, please write your RA number legibly on
the return label or outside of the packaging box
and return the item in its original packaging

All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. If
you are returning due to damage, defect, or an
incorrect product, a prepaid return label will
be provided. For your security, please ship your
return with an insured courier (e.g. FedEx, UPS,
USPS Parcel Post) and retain your receipt.
Whimsy Home Décor is not responsible for items
damaged or lost in transit.
